A first! We're delighted to announce that Landmarc/MOD have very kindly offered us the use of a large MOD training area at Bramley, Hampshire (between Reading/Basingstoke) on Sunday 31st January 2010. We are the first 4x4 club to use the facility.

The original venue for that day was to have been Salisbury Plain - however the area will see major MOD activity on 31st January thus we were advised to seek an alternative. We'll return to the Plain in September 2010

Having visited Bramley (in the dry) none of the terrain is 'taxing' - it's more akin to Green-laning - but given the size of the area, it will be a fun day - and January ground conditions will differ from October!

Part of the H&S Risk Assessment will be to advise all not to venture onto the area marked 'Mines' !!!! - not the 'coal' type of 'mine'!

Costs will be £25 for vehicle & driver + £3.85 MSA charge) for each additional driver.

Details will soon be on the CSMA Club website.
